Royal Decree 54/2021 Implementing the Unified Law (System) for Combating Commercial Fraud of the States of the Arabian Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC)

We, Haitham bin Tarik, Sultan of Oman

After perusal of the Basic Statute of the State, and

Royal decree No. 67/2003 for the application of the Common Customs Law of the GCC countries, and

The Law on Food Safety promulgated by Royal Decree 84/2008, and

The Consumer Protection Law promulgated by Royal Decree 66/2014, and

The Consumer Protection Authority System promulgated by Royal Decree 53/2011, and

Royal Decree 77/2020 regarding the Public Authority for Consumer Protection, and

The decision of the Supreme Council of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf in its 37th (thirty-seventh) session held in Riyadh in December 2016 adopting the Unified Law (System) for Combating Commercial Fraud of the States of the Cooperation Council, and

Following presentation to the Council of Oman, and

For the public interest
