We, Haitham bin Tariq, Sultan of Oman,

after reviewing the Basic statute of the State,

the Law on the bank Deposit Insurance System promulgated by Royal Decree No. 9 / 95,

And the Banking Law issued by Royal Decree No. 114 / 2000,

And after presenting it to the majlis of Oman,

And in pursuance of the public interest,

We decreed as follows:
