Royal Decree No. 54 / 96 Approving the Sultanate's Accession to the Convention on the Rights of the Child

We, Qaboos bin Said, Sultan of Oman,
After reviewing Royal Decree No. 26/75 promulgating the state Administrative Apparatus law and its amendments,
And the Convention on the Rights of the Child adopted by the United Nations General Assembly in its decision No. 44/25 during its forty-fourth session held on December 5, 1989,
And in pursuance of the public interest,
Hereby decreed the following:
