Royal Decree No. 41 / 2004 regarding the Sultanate's Accession to the two Optional Protocols Attached to the Convention on the Rights of the Child

We, Qaboos bin Said, Sultan of Oman,
After reviewing the Basic Law of the State promulgated by Royal Decree No. 101/96,
the Optional Protocol to the Convention on the child Rights of the Child regarding the involvement of children in armed conflict,
and the Optional Protocol to the Convention on the Rights of the Child regarding the sale of children and the exploitation of children in prostitution and in pornography,
and in pursuant of the public interest.
Hereby decreed the following:
