Royal Decree No. 86 / 2011 Withdrawing Some Reservations of the Sultanate on the convention on the Rights of the Child

We, Qaboos bin Said, Sultan of Oman,
After reviewing the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Royal Decree No. 101/96,
the Convention on the Rights of the Child adopted by the United Nations General Assembly in its decision No. 44/25 during its forty-fourth session held on December 5, 1989,
And Royal Decree No. 54/96 approving the Sultanate's accession to the Convention on the Rights of the Child,
And in pursuance of the public interest,
Hereby decree the following:
